Head out to the Rensselaerville Park to share a StoryWalk® adventure with friends and family.

StoryWalkTM is an outdoor reading experience. A children's book is deconstructed and the pages of the book are laminated and placed on wooden posts along a walking trail. Enjoy time outdoors, reading and talking about the story as it unfolds from post to post.
StoryWalk™ is supported by funds from the New York State Library’s Family Literacy Library Services Program” and by Upper Hudson Library System. The StoryWalk™ Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Vermont Bicycle & Pedestrian Coalition (VBPC) and the Kellogg Hubbard Library.
Rensselaerville Town Park is located at the corner of County Route 351 and Albany Hill Road in the Hamlet of Rensselaerville, NY.

DaybyDayNY is a website for young children and their families. It is part of the New York State Library early literacy initiative Ready to Read at New York Libraries.

The New York State Library hopes that families across New York State will use this interactive calendar to develop a love for books and learning that will last a lifetime. The calendar uses multimedia to enhance books, songs, and family health and bring these components to life. If families can only spend a few minutes together, this calendar will give them something they can use to make sure that this is quality time as well as educational time.

Homework Hotline is a live statewide show designed for children in grades 4 through 12. The program – which is now in its 27th season – provides the tools students need to succeed both in and out of the classroom, and supports academic achievement across a variety of learning standards.

Our main goal is to support student learning by making connections between classroom content and real world situations. Homework Hotline also presents daily thematic segments on health, animals, book reviews, history, environment issues, and people and places in New York State. Homework Hotline sends out daily updates and helpful hints on our social media pages.
