Poet Hour Thursdays | 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Rensselaerville Library POET HOUR is a free, fun, weekly two-hour time span at the Rensselaerville Library that is entirely devoted to poetry. POET HOUR is open to all ages, and guided by poet and Rensselaerville resident Kostas Anagnopoulos. POET HOUR is an open conversation about poems in all shapes. and a place for both the experienced and unexperienced writer to write poems. Participants can write a new poem from guided prompts or writing experiments, work on an existing poem, or revise, edit, read and discuss their poetry and the poetry of others. Not a writer? The opportunity to read and discuss poems will always be present; Kostas will pull books from the shelves of the library, and participants will collectively focus on a different book of poetry from the library’s shelves each week. There will be no Poet Hour on December 26 or January 2. |
