2022 Lawn Party
Each year, the Rensselaerville Library hosts its Annual Lawn Party, a benefit to support the Library and a chance for friends and neighbors to meet in celebration of the end of summer and help the Library further its mission.
This year's Lawn Party fundraiser was a success by all measures!
Thank you to the library lovers, the dignitaries and community of family and friends, who supported us with their joyful presence and to Victor and Mame Schrager. our gracious hosts.
As always, volunteers are the heartbeat of all our fundraisers. Thanks to them, tents and tables were set up, delicious food was set out, tickets were sold, and beverages were served. Thank you all and Susan Cunningham for organizing this effort on our behalf!
A party is for feasting and we have many to thank for providing an outstanding spread: See & Be Kitchen, Tops of Greenville, ShopRite of Slingerlands, Hannaford's of Voorheesville, and Target for their generous donations and all who brought their culinary specialties to share! And a special thanks to Feastmaster and Library friend, Bill Benson, and his band of volunteers who made it look (almost) too beautiful to eat!
And finally, the Lawn Party would not have been possible without the detailed attention given to it by our two Trustee co-chairs, Judy Crilley and Donna Kropp. We applaud their efforts on behalf of the Library and our community.
