The state of simple awareness is available to you, right here, right now. Everything takes place in the space of present awareness. The mind entertains and traumatizes us with stories, leading us away from that awareness. Stop the mind; recognize the stillness that you already are. This course will share Jnana Yoga principles and inspire you to sit in silence to access your natural state of happiness. You will experience results immediately.

Weather permitting part of today’s program will include a walking meditation.

Nancy is an Integral Yoga Certified Hatha and Jnana Yoga instructor.

We all have stories to tell, poems to write. We hope you will give yourself the opportunity to discover or refine your writer’s voice. The Rensselaerville Library invites you to join its small, informal and supportive writers’ group. Our next meeting will take place on Monday, April 9 from 7-9pm. Writers of all interests, backgrounds, and abilities are welcome. We currently have a mix of fiction, non-fiction, and poetry writers. You will always have time to write during our 2 hour session, and you will never be “forced” to share anything. Our currently very small (4-5 person) group is welcoming and supportive. If you have “works-in-progress” or would just like to put pen to paper, the library’s writing group will give you the time and support you need. We usually meet once per month.
If you have any questions, you can call Linda Miller at 936-4402
